Cognitive-Communication Specialist · Certified Brain Injury Specialist · Pre-AA Applicant
I'm a cognitive-communication and brain injury specialist applying to Anesthesiologist Assistant school. My understanding sits at the intersection of how the brain processes communication and how people integrate information about their own health and functioning. Those same mechanisms shape every interaction, clinical or otherwise. That is the lens I carry into the CAA profession.
Misinformation spreads easily. The CAA path is no exception. Pre-AAs, student AAs, and the public encounter it in the very spaces where they're trying to learn.
The advocacy framework on this site is the first step. Grounded in clinical science and evidence-based practice, it's designed to give pre-AAs, student AAs, and CAAs the tools they need to become even better advocates. One conversation, one provider at a time.
